As wedding photographers we have the privilege of getting to meet wonderful couples, hear their stories, and interact with them before the wedding day through our various meetings, email correspondence, and the engagement session. I hope I never get over the fact of just how miraculous it is that two people born in different places, with different experiences, families and acquaintances find each other and fall in love. And I am so glad that Victoria and Patrick’s paths crossed because these two wonderful souls were made for each other. They compliment each other so well and are seriously just a lot of fun to be around. When I was still pregnant (just a few months ago!) I knew it was going to be hard to leave our baby for a whole day to shoot a wedding, even though we love what we do! But as we walked around Grant Park with these two, my heart settled and I was so thankful that THEIR wedding would be the first we would shoot after Micah was born, because I get energized just being around them! As we talked about the plans for their wedding, I continued to get more and more excited. Getting to shoot their wedding this Saturday is such a gift, and i’m so thankful for Victoria and Patrick, their fun-loving and laid back personalities, and all of the joy that we are going to get to capture this Saturday.
Thank you Victoria and Patrick for having us be your wedding photographers! I’m so glad we get to kick of our 2018 year with YOUR wedding. We can’t wait for Saturday! It’s going to be a blast 🙂
