The heartbeat of our business is the desire to connect with our couples on a relational level, not just a business one. That’s why we do everything we can to meet our clients in person before they book with us, and include a complimentary engagement session with each wedding we book. These connection points are what allow us to serve our clients well, to serve them on a heart level, to serve them as our friends. Sometimes the distance is just too far to meet our couples in person, but thank goodness for skype! I’m sure we all have a love-hate relationship with technology, but it sure does have it’s perks. We met with Eun Si and Dan for the first time over the internet as they live in DC, but even though we were sitting across from screens, and not in person at our favorite coffee shop, we all hit it off right away and we just knew we had to work with Eun Si and Dan.
Eun Si’s darling and sweet personality, paired with Dan’s great sense of humor yet sensitive heart makes these two the perfect fit for one another and we have loved getting to know them. On a recent trip they made down to Georgia to finalize wedding plans and visit their family, we got to finally meet in person for their engagement session! Eun Si and Dan chose Emory University for their location, as this is where Eun Si graduated from. Even though our own brother in law attended Emory, we had never had the pleasure of walking the campus before…and let me tell you, this is one of our new favorite engagement session locations! The gorgeous architecture, light and bright architecture, columns and marble is a photographers dream! But getting to shoot Eun Si and Dan there was just the icing on the cake. When their engagement session was over we walked to the cars and just couldn’t stop talking to each other, so we decided to grab some pizza together! We had a lovely time just talking about life, love and marriage. They had so many great questions they wanted to ask us about marriage and it blessed us that they wanted to hear from us on the topic! Their hearts are so open to learn, their desire is to learn all they can so that their marriage is strong and that they can serve and love each other well. How beautiful is that?
Bence and I are so blessed to be Eun Si and Dan’s photographers, and also to call them our friends. We just wish they lived closer, because I have no doubt there would be many more double date nights over pizza in our future 😉
