An Intimate Backyard Wedding | Gabriel and Serena

Nestled in Norcross, Georgia, is a beautiful property that you never would have guessed was there. Gabriel’s grandparents own the property and his Grandfather told us that it was the largest residential plot in Norcross. The first time Bence and I pulled into the property to meet with Gabriel and Serena, we were blown away at how beautiful it was and couldn’t wait to see how they would decorate it for the big day! This special, beautiful, and quiet spot couldn’t have been more perfect for Serena and Gabriel, who are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

Serena and Gabriel were surrounded by lots of family, friends and loved ones, which is typical for a wedding day…but what blew us away the most was how Serena and Gabriel treated everyone around them. Even though this was their special day, they loved and cared for those around them as if it was any other day. Their sincere care for others is overwhelmingly beautiful and the love they have for one another is indescribable. As photographers, we cherish the moments that few get to see…the behind the scenes of a wedding day. But watching Serena help her mother into her dress before she got into her own, and seeing how tenderly she braided her flower girl’s hair was only a glimpse into the heart of this beautiful bride. Seeing how calm Gabriel was on his big day, and how patiently he handled last minute details, making sure everything was as it should be, was a rare sight to behold. These two have clearly been brought together by God and the love that they share will last for eternity.

Serena and Gabriel, words can’t express how blessed we were to be a part of your big day. Thank you for inviting us into the precious and sacred moments of your love, your relationship, your community, and your wedding day.
