On the blog this week I have been sharing the very special family sessions that Bence and I captured while we were in Idaho visiting our extended family. Today I am sharing photos of my beautiful sister and brother-in-law! I’ve got to hand it to these guys….they were the first couple to ever ask me to do an engagement session (that was two years ago!) and helped me fall in love with shooting two beautiful people in the process of becoming one. After that session, it was confirmed in my heart that this is what I wanted to do. Shelby and Gavin are still one of my favorite couples to photograph 🙂 These photos are also special because Gavin and Shelby celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary this past winter!
Shelby and Gavin have shown what true commitment to one another means, honoring one another in marriage…two imperfect people becoming two perfect forgivers, learning and growing all the while. I am very excited about the future for Shelby and Gavin, they are two individuals filled with lots of love, super fun, a heart to learn, commitment, a hard work ethic, and a desire to know God. I am a deeper lover, a fuller forgiver, a more intentional sister, a better person because of Shelby and Gavin.
The relationship I have with these two precious people is unbreakable because of what we have walked through together…unshakeable because of the bond we now share...true because of the deep love we have between one another. Thank you Shelby and Gavin for helping me become a better me, for being an example of what grace and love really looks like, for walking through the valleys with me, for sharing beautiful hill tops with me, for always always always being there for me, and for loving me.
